Situated among the trees..... you have the decking where you can view Hauser Lake itself and from the bedroom window you will see the rolling mountains of Washington State. Oh yeah by the way if you can't get that this is a house in a tree lol IT DOES SWAY!!! This completely off the grid Treehouse has solar energy (but does have a backup generator), a water catchment system allowing the guttering around the tin roof to collect all the water needed and then it deposits into an 850 gallon tank. Bathroom with shower and toilet situated at the back of the Treehouse, with an adequate kitchenette in the living area leading to comfortable seating with an old 19th century (circa 1865-1875) wood stove we found from a railroad, and then you have two huge double patio french doors that lead you out on to the decking to just simply enjoy those wonderful surroundings. Every morning relax on the deck and take in the beautiful view of the lake to the south, and the mountains to the north. Inside, the Ponderosa has all the amenities of home. All major appliances (including dish washer), granite counter tops, beautiful custom built cabinets, vanities and loft. The master has a king size bed, and en-suite. The second bedroom has a queen bed and lots of space to relax. A second bathroom with a large walk-in shower facilitates everyone in the group. Upstairs you'll find our "sleeping loft" with 2 sets of bunk beds, 2 extra beds, and a sofa bed, just in case. The loft is our kid area, with DVD's and a TV, books, and even a pinball machine to play. Feeding everyone is no problem with our beautiful, hand crafted table, which has space for 8, a custom breakfast bar near one of the two fireplaces, and another breakfast bar at the kitchen counter. A user-friendly thermostat makes controlling the central air conditioning and furnace a breeze. Wireless internet and Roku tv with netflix account already logged in are provided.
